ACL Injury Mechanism

Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) ruptures are associated with the one of the highest injury burdens in elite and sub-elite football. ACL ruptures cost on average $6000 injury with women are between 2-8 times more likely to rupture their ACL. It is important to explore ways to reduce injury risk for all players.
